Reports

Schedule a recurring agent run, such as a daily reliability digest, and deliver it to Slack or any webhook.

A report is a prompt the agent runs on a schedule. Every run lands in Runs, and can also be posted to a webhook.

Who can: Owners, Admins, SREs and Managers create, pause, resume and delete schedules. Everyone except Viewers can Run now. Everyone can read reports their role may see.

Create a schedule

Open Reports

Go to Reports and fill in the form.

Name, schedule and timezone

  • Name: what you'll see in Runs, for example Daily reliability digest.
  • Cron: five fields, minute hour day-of-month month day-of-week. 0 9 * * 1-5 is 09:00 on weekdays, */30 * * * * every 30 minutes.
  • Timezone: the cron runs in this timezone, for example Asia/Ho_Chi_Minh or Europe/Berlin.

The prompt

Write it like a question in Investigate, and say what you want back:

Summarize the last 24 hours: error rate and the top failing endpoints, any deploys,
and anything that looks unusual. End with a short list of things to check today.

Delivery (optional)

Add a Webhook URL (optional, https) to receive each finished report. sremcp sends a POST with a JSON body:

{ "report": "Daily reliability digest", "runId": "…", "text": "…the report, in Markdown…" }

Leave it empty to keep reports in Runs only.

Create

Click Create schedule. The next run happens at the next matching time. Run now starts one immediately.

Slack incoming webhooks

Slack's incoming webhooks expect a text field, which sremcp sends, so the report arrives as a message. Other tools may need a small relay to reshape the JSON.

Whose access a report uses

A report runs with its creator's current role: it uses the servers and approved tools that role may use at the time of the run. If the creator's role changes, the report's reach changes with it. If the creator leaves the organization, their schedules are paused.

Who can read a report

Everyone with Read reports can see a report's runs, but only if their role may use every server the run drew on. Output from a server you can't query yourself is never shown to you.

Pause, resume, delete

Each schedule has Pause (or Resume) and delete. Past runs stay in Runs either way.
